What We Fix in Raleigh Ovens And Ranges

The Raleigh team repairs gas, electric, and dual-fuel ovens and ranges, including wall ovens. An oven that will not heat most often needs an element or an igniter, an oven at the wrong temperature a sensor, and a gas burner that will not light a spark module. The prices below are labor only. Parts and tax are separate, and the diagnosis settles the final labor.

  • Oven light socket or wiring: $120–$150
  • Temperature sensor: $130–$170
  • Door gasket: $130–$170
  • Gas oven igniter: $150–$195
  • Bake or broil element: $150–$195
  • Burner element (electric): $150–$190
  • Spark module or safety valve (gas): $170–$230
  • Oven control board: $190–$250
  • Oven fan motor: $190–$290

The full Raleigh price list covers the oven and range repairs we price, including burner and ignition cleaning. A repair that is not on the list, such as a door lock motor or a hinge, is priced after the diagnosis.

If you smell gas, leave the house at once and call 911 and your gas utility (or propane supplier) from outside before you call us. For an oven that is not heating, check the breaker and the control lock first. The problems below are the ones the team repairs:

Vladimir was super pleasant and helpful. The repair for our oven took a few appointments due to backorders and additional work that was found during the original repair, but he insisted to stick to the original quote which was great. Will definitely be using them again in the future for any appliance needs.

Process

How It Works

  1. Book Your Appointment

Pick an open 2-hour arrival window online or call the Raleigh team. Tell us the brand and what the appliance is doing so the technician brings the right parts.

  2. Diagnosis & Written Estimate

The technician looks the appliance over and tells you what failed. Then you get a written estimate on the spot, with parts and labor included.

  3. Your Decision

Nothing gets repaired until you approve the estimate. If you go ahead, the diagnostic fee is waived. If you don't, you pay the diagnostic fee and nothing else. And if a repair would run more than half the price of a new appliance, we'll tell you so you can decide.

  4. Repair & Warranty

If the technician has the part with them, the repair is usually done the same visit. If it has to be ordered, you pick a time for us to come back. Pay by card, cash, check, or tap. Labor is covered for 90 days.

Book a Diagnostic Visit

The diagnostic visit (service call) is $65 for most appliances and $85 for refrigerators, built-in ovens, and microwaves, per appliance. We inspect it, find the problem, and give you a repair estimate. The fee is waived when you approve the repair; if you decide not to repair, it's all you pay. Oven & Range Repair in Raleigh: Questions

How much is an oven or range diagnostic in Raleigh?

The diagnostic is $65 for a freestanding oven or range and $85 for a built-in wall oven, charged per appliance. When you approve the repair, the fee is waived, and when you decline, it is the only charge. The written estimate shows the repair price first.

How much does an oven or range repair cost in Raleigh?

Labor runs about $130 to $195 for a sensor, a gasket, an igniter, or an element, $170 to $230 for a spark module or a gas safety valve, and $190 to $290 for a control board or a fan motor. Parts and tax are separate, and the written estimate arrives before any work begins. Other lines are on the Raleigh price list.

How fast can you get to my oven or range?

Most weeks we can arrive within a day or two. Open 2-hour arrival windows are shown live online. Tell us whether the range is gas or electric, the brand, and the symptom when you book, and the technician plans the parts for it.

Do you repair Viking, Wolf, and Thermador ranges?

Yes. The Raleigh team repairs Viking, Wolf, Thermador, and JennAir ranges and wall ovens along with GE, Whirlpool, KitchenAid, and the other major brands. Built-in ovens have the $85 diagnostic fee, and a freestanding range is $65.

Do you serve Holly Springs, Knightdale, and Fuquay-Varina?

Yes. Holly Springs, Knightdale, and Fuquay-Varina are in the Raleigh team's area, which spans 19 towns. Look up your ZIP code in the service area section above to confirm an address.

Do you repair gas ovens and ranges in Raleigh?

Yes. The team replaces gas igniters, spark modules, safety valves, and regulators, and the diagnostic fee is the same as for an electric model. If you smell gas at any time, leave the house at once, call 911 and your gas utility or propane supplier from outside, and call us afterward.

Can you look at my cooktop or range hood on the same visit?

Yes, tell us when you book and the technician looks at all of them. A separate diagnostic fee applies to each appliance. Cooktop repair in Raleigh and range hood repair in Raleigh show how each one is priced.

What if my oven or range is not worth repairing?

If a repair would cost more than about half of a new oven or range, the technician says so on site, and you can decline and pay only the diagnostic. A wall oven is the exception, because a new one has to fit the cabinet cutout, so a repair gets a closer look.

Do you work on gas ranges and ovens?

Yes. We replace igniters, spark modules, gas valves, regulators and manifolds inside gas ranges, cooktops and dryers. We do not connect appliances to gas lines and do not work on propane tanks or supply systems; that is the work of a licensed gas contractor.
