Why Us

Why Clark County Homeowners Choose Swift

One Company, Local Team

Swift Appliance Repair is a repair company, not a directory that sells your request. The technician at your door works with Swift, and the Vancouver team handles your job from booking to warranty.

Vetted, Background-Checked, Insured

Every technician is personally vetted, background-checked and carries liability insurance. Your confirmation shows who is coming, with a name and profile.

Booking Around the Clock

Pick an open time slot online at any hour. During business hours a person answers the phone; after hours an automated assistant answers and can book the visit for you.

Everything in One Account

Estimates, invoices and messages to the Vancouver team stay in your customer account, so nothing gets lost in texts and email.

Homeowners, Renters and Landlords

We repair and maintain household appliances for homeowners, renters, landlords and property managers across the Vancouver area.

Book a Diagnostic Visit

The diagnostic visit is $85 per appliance in Vancouver. The technician inspects the appliance, finds the fault and writes up a repair estimate. Approve the repair and the $85 is waived; decline it and the diagnostic is all you pay. Open 2-hour arrival windows are shown live.

Process

How It Works

  1. Book a Time

Choose an open 2-hour arrival window online or call the Vancouver team. Tell us the brand, the model if you have it, and what the appliance is doing, so the technician comes with the right parts.

  2. Diagnosis and Written Estimate

The technician tests the appliance and explains what failed. You get a written estimate on the spot that lists parts and labor.

  3. You Decide

No repair starts until you approve the estimate. Approve it and the diagnostic fee is waived; decline it and you pay only the diagnostic. If the repair would cost more than about half the price of a comparable new appliance, the technician tells you first.

  4. Repair and Warranty

If the technician has the part on hand, the repair usually happens on the same visit. If it has to be ordered, you pick the return time. Pay by card, cash, check or tap. Repairs are covered by a warranty of up to 1 year, depending on the work.

Clark County homes run everything from builder-grade Whirlpool, GE and Frigidaire sets to Samsung and LG laundry pairs and built-in Sub-Zero, Thermador and Miele kitchens, and the Vancouver team services all of them.

FAQ

Vancouver Questions

How much is the diagnostic fee in Vancouver?

$85 per appliance, for every type of appliance we repair. If you approve the repair, the $85 is waived and you pay the repair price on your written estimate. If you decide not to repair, the diagnostic fee is the only charge. Two appliances on one visit are two diagnostics.

How much does a repair cost?

Labor is priced from our published rate table. It starts at about $120 for simple parts such as switches and goes up for control boards, motors and sealed-system work. Parts and tax are extra, and nothing is repaired until you approve the written estimate.

How soon can you come?

Open 2-hour arrival windows are listed live on the booking page, so the earliest slot you see is the earliest we can be there. Booking online or by phone takes a couple of minutes, and a text confirms the visit right away.

What are your hours?

Technicians visit Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm. You can book online at any hour, and the phone is answered around the clock: by the team during business hours and by an automated assistant after hours, which can book you in. Weekend visits are not scheduled right now.

Which areas do you cover?

Clark County, Washington: Vancouver, Hazel Dell, Salmon Creek, Orchards, Felida, Camas, Washougal, Battle Ground, Brush Prairie and Ridgefield. The ZIP list above is the final word. We do not serve Portland or other Oregon addresses.

Who will come to my home?

A technician from the Vancouver team. Every technician is personally vetted, background-checked and insured, and sealed-system refrigerator work is done by an EPA Section 608 certified technician. The name is in your booking confirmation.

Is Swift registered in Washington?

Yes. Swift Appliance Repair LLC is a North Carolina company registered to do business in Washington State, UBI 606 307 679.

Do you work with landlords and property managers?

Yes. When you book, give us the property address, the tenant's contact and who approves the estimate. Estimates and invoices stay in your account, and a W-9 and a certificate of insurance are available on request.

Do you repair commercial equipment in Vancouver?

Not at this time. The Vancouver team works on household appliances only.

Do you install appliances in Vancouver?

Not at this time. In the Vancouver area we repair and maintain appliances; installation is not offered here yet.

How do I pay?

Card, cash, check or contactless. Estimates and invoices are kept in your customer account.

What does the warranty cover?

Repairs carry a warranty of up to 1 year, depending on the type of repair; sealed-system refrigerator repairs get the longest coverage. If work we did fails within its warranty period, we come back and redo it with no labor charge. Parts are covered by their manufacturer's or supplier's warranty. The full terms are on our warranty page.

Do you repair appliances under the manufacturer's warranty?

No. Swift is an independent company and is not authorized by any manufacturer, so an appliance still under the maker's warranty should go to the manufacturer first. Once that coverage ends, we can repair it.
