Meet the Owner
I have worked in appliance repair for five years. I started out repairing appliances for insurance companies and learned the trade hands-on from there. I am EPA Section 608 certified (Type I, certificate 8A75A09F73471MML1) for handling refrigerants, and every sealed-system repair at Swift is done by a 608-certified technician.
I still work as a technician myself, so I hold every Swift repair to the standard I would want in my own home: a clear diagnosis, a written estimate before any work, and a warranty of up to 1 year.
I also interview, background-check and vet every technician who works under the Swift name.

Parts and Warranty
We install original manufacturer parts, ordered through established U.S. suppliers such as Marcone, D&L Parts, and ReliableParts.
Every repair carries a warranty of up to 1 year, in every area we serve. The period depends on the type of repair, and sealed-system refrigerator repairs get the longest coverage. If work we did fails within its warranty period, contact your local team and we will come back and redo it at no labor charge. Parts are covered by the warranty of their manufacturer or supplier, which depends on the part. Your written estimate lists the parts you are paying for. The full terms are on the Warranty page, linked at the bottom of every page.
Homeowners, Renters, Landlords
We serve homeowners, renters, landlords, and property managers. For rental properties we provide itemized invoices, and a W-9 and certificate of insurance on request.
Home warranty plans: you pay us at the visit, and we give you an itemized invoice and a written diagnosis to submit to your home warranty company for reimbursement, if your plan allows it. Reimbursement is decided by your provider.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who owns Swift Appliance Repair?
Swift Appliance Repair LLC is owned and operated by Vladimir Moses, a working appliance technician with five years of experience.
Where is Swift Appliance Repair located?
We are based in Raleigh, North Carolina, and also serve Vancouver, Washington and nearby Clark County. Our technicians come to your home.
Are Swift technicians insured?
Yes. Each technician carries liability insurance of $1,000,000 or more. A certificate of insurance is available on request.
How are Swift technicians vetted?
The owner interviews every technician personally, reviews their work history, calls their previous employers, and runs a background check.
Can I use my home warranty with Swift?
You pay us at the visit, and we give you an itemized invoice and a written diagnosis to submit to your home warranty company for reimbursement, if your plan allows it. Reimbursement is decided by your provider.
Do you clean dryer vents or work on HVAC?
No. We focus on household appliance repair, installation, and maintenance.
What if I am not satisfied after a visit?
Contact customer support at (888) 800-8094 or [email protected]. We reply within 1–2 business days.
Are you certified to work on refrigerant systems?
Yes. Sealed-system repairs (compressor, evaporator, leak repair and recharge) are performed by an EPA Section 608 certified technician, as federal law requires. The owner holds Type I certification No. 8A75A09F73471MML1, and every technician who joins Swift is required to obtain the certification.
Do you work on gas appliances?
Yes. We replace igniters, spark modules, gas valves, regulators and manifolds inside gas ranges, cooktops and dryers. We do not connect appliances to gas lines and do not work on propane tanks or supply systems; that is the work of a licensed gas contractor.
Do you install appliances?
In the Raleigh area we install dishwashers and over-the-range microwaves; labor prices are on the Raleigh prices page. Other appliances we repair and maintain but do not install. In the Vancouver area we repair and maintain appliances; installation is not offered there yet.
Do I pay for special-order parts up front?
Yes. A part that has to be special-ordered is paid for before we order it, and the written estimate says whether it can be returned. Once a non-returnable part is ordered, the prepayment is not refunded if the repair is cancelled.
