Bertazzoni ranges are built in Italy on a heavy steel chassis, and most of what fails on them is a serviceable component, not the whole appliance. All the surface burners light from a single spark module, many models use a thermocouple flame-safety valve at each burner, and many ovens still run on a mechanical thermostat with a capillary bulb.
Dual fuel models pair that gas top with an electric oven that has separate bake, broil and convection elements plus a cooling fan. Induction models add power boards and fans under the glass. Expect us to test before ordering: Bertazzoni parts often ship from Italy, so a correct diagnosis the first time avoids a long wait for the wrong part.
What breaks in Bertazzoni ranges and ovens
- Oven will not light or lights late. A weak oven igniter, or a thermocouple that no longer holds the safety valve open. We test both before replacing anything.
- Oven runs 25 degrees or more off. The capillary thermostat drifts, or its bulb is knocked out of the clips inside the cavity. It is replaced as one assembly with the bulb.
- Door does not close flush. The doors are heavy, so the hinges wear and the gasket flattens. Heat escapes and the knobs and fascia run hot. New hinges and a gasket fix it.
- Dual fuel oven heats slowly. A failed bake or convection element, or a stopped cooling fan that let the safety limit trip.

What breaks in Bertazzoni cooktops
- Clicking that will not stop. A boil-over or spray reaches an ignition switch behind a knob, and the spark module keeps firing every igniter. Drying sometimes clears it; a shorted switch or module gets replaced.
- Burner lights, then goes out when the knob is released. On models with flame safety, the thermocouple tip is dirty, bent away from the flame or worn out.
- Uneven or lazy flame. Caps seated off center or ports clogged with food. The Bertazzoni dual-ring power burner is especially sensitive to how its two caps sit.
- Induction zone dead or showing a letter code. Usually a power board, a cooling fan or an air intake blocked under the counter.

What breaks in Bertazzoni range hoods
Bertazzoni hoods are matched to the ranges and built simply: a blower, a speed control, lights and grease filters.
- Loud or rattling blower. Grease from a high-output Bertazzoni burner packs onto the blower wheel and throws it out of balance, or the motor bearings wear. We degrease or replace the wheel, or replace the motor.
- Fan stuck on one speed or dead. A failed button panel, speed switch or motor capacitor.
- Lights out. A burned LED module or driver, or a halogen socket cooked by heat.
- Weak draw. Saturated baffle or mesh filters, or a backdraft damper stuck shut.

Parts and warranty on Bertazzoni repairs
We install OEM Bertazzoni parts only: igniters, thermocouples, valves, thermostats, elements, gaskets and hinges made for your exact model and serial number. Bertazzoni distributes parts through its own channel, but many are produced in Italy, so common items arrive in days while a specific valve, door glass or color-matched trim piece can take a few weeks. If the appliance is still under Bertazzoni's warranty, contact Bertazzoni first, since warranty repairs go through the manufacturer. Our labor is warranted for 90 days.
