What We Did

Diagnostics produced an unexpected error, and the lid took unusually long to unlock after the cycle was canceled. Inspection found that the drive pulley’s retaining nut had loosened, wearing down and stripping the teeth in the splutch assembly. Replaced the Splutch Pulley and Cam Kit and applied threadlocking compound during reassembly. Testing confirmed proper agitation, smooth acceleration into spin, and normal lid-lock operation.
