What We Did

We checked the heating circuit components, and all tested good. We then measured each of the two separate bars. Each showed a resistance reading of 40–60 ohms. Those readings document what we measured, but the notes do not identify a failed component or establish that the readings caused the complaint. With no failed part identified, we did not replace anything during this visit. We tested the dryer after the checks, but no corrected condition was documented. At home, keep the lint screen clear and make sure the selected cycle suits the load. If drying remains unreliable, further diagnosis is needed before replacing parts.
