We replaced the roller kit, including the tension pulley and support rollers. These parts support the drum and maintain belt tension, so replacing worn rollers helps restore smooth drum movement and reduce friction that can cause squealing. We tested the dryer after the repair. If a similar noise returns, stop the dryer and have the drive system checked before continued use, since a damaged belt or other worn parts can also affect drum operation.
